What does this suggest about
What does this suggest about the encounter between Moses and the LORD? What does it suggest to each one of us about our own potential for an encounter with the LORD?
Joshua
Joshua the son of Nun was not a prophet and yet he was with Moses while Moses was talking to God. My Personal reading of the text is a literal one. God has a face like unto a man and so did Moses and Joshua, we were after all made in his image. These things mean that it does not take anyone who is special to talk with their creator. That it is not only the Prophets who do so, it is people like you and I as well. That we are not mere creatures but Children is my conclusion.
